Unveiling the Victors: NightCafe's Preset Contest Winners Announced!

After weeks of anticipation and hundreds of amazing submissions, we're thrilled to finally announce the winners of our latest contest - the 100K Preset Palooza!
The challenge? To create the most stunning presets using our AI-powered NightCafe platform. The prize? Five lucky winners would have their creations permanently featured on our website for all to enjoy. And boy, did you all deliver! We were blown away by the creativity, originality, and sheer talent on display.
Firstly, what is a preset?
One year ago, NightCafe introduced presets to our platform as a way to make AI art creation more accessible to everyone.Simply put, a preset is a preconfigured set of prompts and modifiers that can be applied to during the generation of an image to achieve a specific look or style. By automating the process of creating effective prompts, presets can save time and effort, making it easier to achieve the desired visual effect.
Presets are a fundamental part of our creative community at NightCafe. They allow artists of all skill levels to experiment with different styles and techniques and provide a great starting point for anyone looking to dive into the world of AI art.
Now let's talk about the contest.
The 100K Preset Palooza Contest ran for 7 days in the NightCafe Lounge, our Discord community, and it was a huge success!
Participants were challenged to create five unique presets based on five different categories, each with its own unique style and flair. The five categories for participants to choose from were "Candy World", "Cubism", "Gouache Style", "3D Game", and "No-Theme".
And now, the moment we've all been waiting for: the winners of our Preset Palooza!
We were thrilled to receive so many fantastic submissions, each showcasing a unique style and perspective! After careful consideration, our team has selected the five winning presets that are now permanently added to the NightCafe site as preset options.
We couldn't be more excited to share them with you and celebrate the incredible talent and creativity of our community. Without further ado, let's start with our winner for the Cubism category!
Cubism: @Eclectic
The Cubism category had some truly impressive entries, but one in particular caught our eye. We were wowed by the stunning visuals generated by user @Eclectic's entry - it's safe to say it's one of our favorites!
The prompt length was just right and the accuracy of the prompts allowed for easy generation of great results. We even had fun trying it out ourselves!
Candy: @Tracie
In order, the prompts used (along with the Candy v2 preset) in order were 1950's Diner, Candy Land, Ruins of a medieval Castle, and Overgrown City Covered in Vines.
The candy category was definitely a sweet surprise! Tracie's preset really nailed it with the colorful and fun candy look that works wonders on a variety of subjects.
Whether it's a human portrait or a pet, this preset creates an adorably cute and whimsical image! We were especially impressed with its versatility and how it brought out the best in every photo.

Gouache: @Guille
In order, the prompts used (along with the Gouache v2 preset) were grand entrance to a Roman market, hooded alien, what a wonderful world, and goodness gracious great balls of fire. Guille's entry for the gouache category was truly impressive.
The bold colors reminiscent of traditional gouache painting were spot on. Another thing we loved was the prompt length. It was just right and allowed for easy and fun generation of beautiful pieces! And the great attention to detail in this preset really shines through, making it a top choice for creating unique gouache-inspired art.

3D Game: @The Vrynn Paradox
In order, the prompts used (along with the 3D Game v2 preset) were robot with a flamethrower, red headed wizard with a wand, beautiful elf woman, and entrance to hell.
Vrynn's 3D game preset captures the essence of a your typical modern video game with its stunning renders! The prompt is expertly crafted, making it easy to create stunning visuals that are true to the 3D gaming aesthetic. This preset also produces clean, crisp, and detailed images that are sure to impress!
No-Theme: Mecha by @possom2009
In order, the prompts used (alongside the Mecha preset) in order were: the angel of death, jellyfish, Russian bull, and dog.
The 'no theme' category was particularly popular with almost double the amount of entries compared to any other single category!
The winning entry for this category was a mecha theme done by user @possom2009, which generated stunning robot-like designs from any subject provided. This prompt was unique and interesting, resulting in impressive renderings that truly showcased the power of NightCafe's presets.
This preset was unique to what NightCafe had previously offered and we're excited to see what members of the community do with it!
