NC: WHAT INFLUENCES YOUR WORK?

There are many things that influence my work. My inspiration can come from something I see or do in real life, something I see in the explore tab on NightCafe, or simply a random idea that pops into my head (which is most common). 

NC: MOST UNDERRATED ARTIST ON NIGHTCAFE?

In my opinion, @fredex is the most underrated artist on NightCafe.

They do all sorts of styles, and the subject of their pictures are what is truly unique. I am always impressed by the very creative subjects of their creations and how well-rendered they are.  

I also think @Hirai is underrated. Their creations have a very beautiful theme and style, almost like you are in a dreamland.

I have MANY other favourite creators, but these are the ones that I would classify as "underrated"! 

NC: PROMPT THAT MOST SURPRISED YOU?

"Nocturnal Odyssey"

It is a very simple phrase, but can make some amazing pieces, especially with the new "prompt magic" feature on NightCafe.

I believe I found the short phrase in someone else's prompt and gave it a try by itself because it sounded cool.

The phrase can be interpreted as a metaphorical or figurative journey that takes place at night.

NC: ANY TIPS FOR PROMPT WRITING?

1. Order your prompt correctly. The order of your prompt matters a lot, put the most important parts of your prompt at the beginning, and put the least important things at the end. Everything you put in a prompt does make a difference, but the earlier a word is in your prompt the more effect it has.

2. Try out unique modifiers. There is a whole tab full of unique words to use in your prompt if you go into "Advanced Mode", click "Advanced Prompt Editor", then click "Modifiers". Try out new words and combinations in your prompts, you might be surprised by the results.

3. Artist names: Artist names are a very easy way to style your images without using a ton of extra words. You can find some artist names in the modifier tabs, but you can also do research online. Maybe search up "unique photographers" or "unconventional painters" and put those names into your prompt to see the result (combining artists can create very unique styles). 

4. Be sure to use the right model for your prompt. With more and more models seemingly every day on NightCafe, it is important to use the correct ones for the image you are wanting. If you want a realistic image, don't use a model geared towards more illustrative looks. Reading model descriptions can be very useful if you want to know what results the model is likely to give.

NC: WHAT LED YOU TO USING NIGHTCAFE?

During a discussion in late 2022 about whether or not AI might take over the art industry, someone mentioned a fun and free AI art program: NightCafe. 

I decided to try it and see what I could make. Seeing what AI could do at that point was mostly amusing. But the release of SDXL Beta back then gave AI art much more power, and generating coherent images became a reality. 

The supportive and engaged community also made it appealing to stay with NightCafe and keep creating. Seeing how much the capabilities of AI have grown so much in just 2 years is incredible, and I can't wait to see where it goes in the future!
