Every day on NightCafe, thousands of creators generate artwork, experiment with new AI models, and take part in creative challenges. But behind the artwork and daily activity is something even more important: the people who make the space feel welcoming, collaborative and inspiring.

As AI art continues to grow as a creative medium, communities like NightCafe play an important role in helping artists learn, experiment and share their work.

This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating some of the women who help power NightCafe behind the scenes. Through moderation, challenge support and everyday acts of creativity and kindness, they play an essential role in keeping the platform collaborative and inspiring.

Janna brings energy to the NightCafe Facebook Group in a way that’s hard to miss.

She frequently sponsors fun challenges using her own credits — not because she has to, but because she wants the community to stay excited and inspired.

She also runs the official Facebook Banner Challenge, giving members the opportunity to represent the entire group visually. That’s a big deal. The banner is the first thing new members see.

By handing that spotlight to the community, she reinforces something important:

If you’ve ever joined the NightCafe Lounge on Discord and felt immediately welcomed, there’s a good chance Cyliena had something to do with that.

As a member of the Hype Crew, her role isn’t just to help run challenges or answer questions — it’s to be a steady, kind presence in the room. The Hype Crew exists to guide newcomers, keep energy high during challenges, and make sure no one feels lost.

Cyliena takes that mission seriously.

She shows up consistently.
She answers questions with patience.
She adds humour when the vibe needs lifting.
She checks in when someone seems unsure.

And she does all of this on her own time.

Moderating a Facebook group of over 62,000 members is no small task.

But Ing doesn’t just moderate — she builds.

Through her recurring Prompt Party threads (#NCDailyPP), she creates space for experimentation and shared learning. She provides the prompt, yes — but she also participates, responds and encourages discussion.

In a group that large, it would be easy to stay distant. Instead, Ing chooses to get involved.

She creates alongside members, answers questions in real time, and fosters an environment where beginners feel comfortable trying, failing, and improving publicly.

That kind of hands-on engagement transforms a big group into a real creative community.

While it’s a collaborative effort, Susan’s steady, thoughtful presence helped lay the groundwork for its structure and success.

She brings organization without rigidity, encouragement without pressure, and structure without taking away the fun.

She’s often the one offering thoughtful input, helping refine ideas, and making sure things feel intentional rather than rushed.

Every strong community initiative needs someone who quietly ensures it has a solid foundation. Susan helped build that foundation.
